Fun Layouts - A Glimpse into My Style

This is a two-page summer spread of my children. For my personal album I usually try to do a "look-back" spread instead of every individual event which would take up a ton of space. Again my cricut was used for the title and the "sun" was cut with my circle cutter from creative memories and the rays were just cut in strips with my paper trimmer. I thought it was fun and bright and indicative of summer!

Here are a couple of layouts that I did for our "grown-up album." This was Easter a few years ago. I used my cricut for the title and I believe this is the Bohemian line from My Minds' Eye/Wild Asparagus. (I think?)

This was taken on our anniversary (#9) and I just love the line of paper and embellishments by K & Co. so nice to occasionally get to do some formal layouts!

Wouldn't You Know It!

Now that I start this thing my computer has issues (or maybe it's me?) I got this new great camera for my birthday recently and my wonderful husband bought me an 8 GB memory card and my reader won't read it. I am still working on it so please don't give up, PLEASE!

So after a bit of persistence, I was able to upload the pic of the card I made using mostly American Crafts products - this was for my friend Nathan who is getting married today - CONTRAGULTIONS and many happy years!

Can't Believe I just did this!

So here goes one more step outside of my comfort zone - a BLOG! I want to make myself do things I've never done before and the inner workings of a computer certainly fit that category. The purpose of this blog (at least for now) is to showcase my creative/crafty side. I'm not normally a show-off but I would love to expand my horizons in the scrapbooking world and this seems like the quickest and most effective way to get the word out. Hope you enjoy and if yo u have any comments or things I'm doing wrong with this - please let me know and I'll try not to take it personally!
